How can you resist a adorable, loveable dog like a British Bulldog?.

She seems overweight to me, these dogs have it hard enough without the additional weight.

My English bulldog (well I say mine but he is a big mummy's boy) loves his football, he will sit at the gate to the grass of the garden and as soon as you open it he will sprint to his football and will attack it, he also suckles on it by sucking on it and moving his paws like puppies do to coax milk out, but he doesn't like walks… he won't go unless there is mum there with him and at least one other person there too, he also doesn't like dogs especially staffies, this is because when he was about 2-3 months old he was attacked by a Staffie and he was only not killed because my Labrador got in the way so the other dog couldnt get to him… then the man said that it was my mums fault even though he's dog was off the lead in a public dog park and roly was on his lead, and the other dog was obviously aggressive because it just started going at him while they walked past and the man who owned it was on the other side of the field… he is now in training to get over this not liking dogs thing…

My bulldog, Brutus, trims his nails by chewing them… not sure how he manages it but he does an amazing job of it.. He's meticulous as hell and will spend an hour working on a single dew-claw… the sounds he makes when he's doing it is disgusting though. It's a good thing he's good at doing his own because he won't let ANYONE fuck with his paws.. He's independent that way.

I am pretty young and I live in a small house so my mom says I might have to wait a few years to get a bulldog. She loves bulldogs just like me so she also really wants one. You are really beautiful and so helpful. You have helped my mom dad and I love bulldogs even more than we already do. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip on the food. I'll try it. My Emma's allergies got so bad that I started making food home made. I include sweet potatoes, string beans, blueberries and spinach then mix it with a protein (salmon, bison, or venison is good). She's been doing great – turning 11 in a week and still strong and happy.

Honestly I'm not a dog lover because i dont like the super hyperactive side they sometimes have but Bulldogs are the most beautiful pet i think I've ever seen, I have a real soft spot for them, wish i could get one.

An English Bulldog has been a part of my life for almost six years. My one regret is that I didn't purchase pet insurance. In the last year, I've spent over $10,000 for a variety of surgeries including problems with both her rear knees.

Good Lord…papaya face foam. Grain free beef. This dog is treated better then my kids were. (a wet washrag and a decent non-imported dog food will be just fine for your bully kids)

Cute girl and dog but you really don't have to fuss over bulldogs so much IMHO. My dog gets washed a couple of times a year and none of the rest. MOST important is never ignore them, they will chew stuff, and don't over exercise them… Stress is bad, too… Train your dog from puppyhood. A walk a day for eight months will make you happy for life. Sit, Stay, Drop it, Leave it, and Come… are the safety training commands. Any more is up to you. If you don't love your dogs find the best bulldog rescue and surrender him or her.
