Hi Jun, I wanted so bad to watch this live and ask questions!! Unfortunately I went two hours overtime at work today. I work at Petsmart. I'm a new groomer. I love grooming so much but I find myself getting overwhelmed and discouraged easily. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I take so long to groom. I'm only doing 4 haircuts a day in an 8 hour shift. Of course I'm also helping with answering phones and walk-in services but I take sooo long to groom. I can be working on one dog for 3-4 hours!! Is this normal for a beginner? I'm so stressed out. I have major anxiety and I'm always checking the clock. Do you have any tips for me to groom faster? I wash and dry very fast, which is also why they sent me to grooming academy. I was an excellent bather but as a groomer I feel like I'm failing before I even begin. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated

Hi there Jun, I think the phrase, Fail to prepare, prepare to fail, is a great premise to work to. Once I had that in my mind I always remembered to allow enough time to prep! Love your videos. Thank you.

All I want to do is groom my own dog. I first learned to groom a standard poodle my husband and I got years ago. Since then we've had several different breeds that required grooming (clipping and hand stripping). I love watching your videos, and I'm learning so much! Now I'm going to need to learn to groom a cavachon, and I had no idea I needed to do all that prep before bathing!!! It makes a lot of sense.

You're a wonderful groomer/teacher. The people who want to be professional groomers are very fortunate if they've found you, but so are we amateurs! Thank you!!

Hi Jun, what do you think about the recycling submersible sump pump for washing dogs?

I love watching your videos. I am new to the dog grooming world. How do you get the hair off the dog grooming table?

hey Jun! ( don't make it bad)..
j/k. n e ways I have a Shi Tzu and also a yorkie terrior mix… if my dogs already are really afraid of the bath, is there anyway to try and relax them?? tried treats and being really calm, but nothing works…
also, can I use human shampoo?
in a pinch…also what do you think about these calming natural pet dog treats?? I'm not sure they do anything…
