I know this is a video of your dog, but i was wondering what were some items that a hamster can eat that are not for them. Examplar: noodles, peanut butter, cereal, etc. i was wondering if these things were safe to eat. Also if you can think of any other food that can serve as a treat as well.

I just use dog spray called Spritz. Its meant for this reason here's a link to a similar one that I use. I do use a cheap one and it last for nearly 1 year! And I have 5 dogs and use this almost every day!! 🙂

Doesn't this method make you dogs fur feel weird and doesn't backing soda itch your dog?

My dog smells. But I can't give him a bath because he just got his 3rd vaccination today and the Vet says we have to wait 5 days. Ugh.

You may want to becareful about leaving baking soda on their fur if it gets down to the skin and stays there it can cause chemical burns as it's a base and the skin is naturally acidic.

I don't know the exact PH for dogs skin, but I know this happens for humans and has happened to me personally.

Just wondering would this work for 2 smelly but cute guinea pigs as bathing them is a real hassle and takes ages. Also it is a bit cold to bath them.

We bath our dog once a month because he had mange and we don't want it to come back. Is this ok?

  38. Frankie Strange January 21, 2015 at 9:11 am - Reply

I have used dry shampoo on my dog and it worked a treat! It was the one from Lush, it's not a spray so there are no chemicals, it's a powder and it's all natural. The main ingredients are talc, cornflower and scented with grapefruit oil. I wouldn't use a generic dry shampoo or a spray though.

We only bath our dogs about 1x per year, unless they get sprayed by a skunk. In that case they get a series of baths with our own deskunking formula (hyrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap).
