According to some vets, you should never-ever use alcohol on their ears, because it dries out the skin. Use half peroxide and half water and a cotton ball.

invest in a trimmer ppl quicker easier an gets the job done. plus no pain for the pup I could never rip out the hair of my dog that's cruel. some hair should stay most should go, with a trimmer!
clean your dog's ear twice a month with ear cleaner solution from a pet store. an after bath dry the ears!

How to be a shitty dog owner:

Step one: rip hair out of your dog's ears

Step two: put rubbing alcohol in his ears

Step three: stick qtips in there to risk damaging his ear drums.

My pup has smelly ears and I clean them diligently, but when he went to the groomer last they avoided plucking his ears. Which is crazy because that's what I specifically asked them to do. I problem solved , went and got ear powder, and we had a very gentle and calming plucking session. It was uncomfortable for him of course but I gave him lots of kisses and we got through with no cries or anything. Thank you !
