Dog Grooming : What Does a Puppy Cut Look Like?

Big Admin April 13, 2018 11

Puppy cuts can vary between different dog breeds, but they tend to be a longer version of the adult dog cut. Cut a puppy’s fur so that it is the same length all over the entire body with tips…

@chanslems A puppy cut is one length all over the body… It can be anything from shaved down with a 40 blade to touching the floor. Also, saying that a puppy cut is a 'poodle haircut' is extraordinarily vague considering poodles have more styles of clips than any other breed. A Continental cut is DEFINITELY not a puppy cut.

Do u realize you said its just a longer rendition of the adult cut, then you go on to say its just a one length all over? Your stupid.

no…puppy cut is not a poodle cut, poodle cuts have poodle feet. Every breed can get a puppy cut.

Because a dog is registered AKC means nothing. I used to breed AKC dogs and i quit because one i decided adopting dogs was in my and the dogs better interest and two AKC is a complete joke!!!! You can register any dog as anything as long as you have AKC parents. The AKC title does nothing what so ever, hence why dogs that should not have been registered because they screw up the gene pool get registered anyway. Such as Brussels griffons with white mixed into the coat, Check AKC standard.
