In this clip we demonstrate a drying technique that we call the Violin Technique, and also set the length on the body using clippers. Thank you so much for …

I work with my best friends mother who owns her own grooming business and there's only one dog she can't seem to groom. I so wish you could take him on, because he's so hard to groom. He's beautiful and so sweet otherwise and he's very calm in the bathtub, though! He's also my favorite, even though he's bitten me in the face so many times. He's still a pup, and every time he comes in he's a little tiny bit better.

You are the best thus far that I've seen my dogs are not aggressive but they hate getting groomed

I would just wear gloves, They make bite proof handling gloves. I never see anyone use them. I had a corgi mix so many years ago and all those toy breeds bite mostly, They are so fragile and sensative to pressure, plus they are very protective of their space naturally. I really hope there is some sort of breeding law passed in the future, So many of these toy breeds are tossed aside.

Nicest groomer ever seen, even using oriental spa music.  My yorkie used to show me same aggressive reaction when I touched his back side or belly side when his digestive system was still filled with some foods.  After being  emptied,  less anger or even no anger.  I noticed this attitude seemed to be worse when I fed him only dry food.  Now I give him good brand wet food, sometimes 100% coconut water and never touch him before he release his stool.  5~10minutes of walk before visiting grooming place would be helpful.

Your fantastic groomer. I love your patience with animals.
I didn't understand the part of reversing the blade. I find clippers get so hot they can burn the dog. Would this help with that problem?

HEY, you do reverse like me! ūüôā It leaves a much smoother cut. I still don't know how you're handling him so easily. I imagine his bites hurt.

Just acquired my first Yorkie. It's good to see the gentle treatment and your calm convidence.  I was a Poodle groomer and am quickly learning there is more delicate ways to groom this little dog. I'm also from another era. Here they keep your dog all day. I never had a Poodle over 3 hours. I wonder what the advantage is to bringing them at 8:30 and picking up at 5:00. I'm very upset leaving my poor dog for that long.
