Grooming Your Pet The FURminator.
I'd really like to try it, but I've read reviews that say it strips not only the loose undercoat from the cat, but ALL the undercoat. If this is the case, that is bad, isn't it? The cats use that undercoat to keep warm. Can you share any expert advice in this area? Thanks!
I've seen a few of those Furminator clips on here and I've yet to see what the blade looks like close up. It sounds like an excellent product, but what I am cheesed off about is, they're marketing FOUR different Furminators; one for large long-haired cats, one for small long-haired cats, one for large short-haired cats and one for small short-haired cats. Is this really necessary? Potentially, someone with four cats will have to buy four Furminators
Grooming on the floor is bad, the pet has total control. Pet's mind better on a table, the reason why Vets examine on a table if possible. Food bowl is a great idea, as far has the different "blades" it is a clipper blade that has only one side, professional groomers use different blades with different dogs to leave it longer or shorter, so the undercoat will be removed longer and or shorter when you use it in it's normal form.
as the furminator has a blade, I'm sure in time it will have to be replaced. the furminator is not cheap. I don't see how we can remove the blade and replace it when it becomes dull. any ideas ?
but how does the fur keep coming back that much in a week its not possible
Perhaps you should layoff the treats. They both look a little bit overweight to me. My cats fatass goes outside to run every night, and that ain't working for him so much…lol.
