That's the east part .. The hard part is shaving around the back legs and butt area… and your cat is pretty fat so her skin is already stretched out pretty far that makes it easier… I don't believe you could make a living out of it… you have a lot of learning to do.. doing a hack job on a cat is not cool to teach people how to do…

not to be rude. but she is shaved way too short. she needs to have her under coat and it's all gone…
I'd suggest you talk to your vet or do more research…

My cat would have opened your veins one minute in. Scruffing doesnt work on her, not even the vet can do it.

Cats do not need haircuts. Unless the hair is matted, it should be left alone.

Under every pet bath/haircut video, there is a horde of pedophiles and sexual degenerates who watch Miley Cyrus and LadyGaga and vote for genocidal scum like Hillary Clinton BUT find it very essential to tell the world how to be nice to cats and dogs.

You're doing it wrong. Try to watch some YouTube videos from professionals. After awhile, when done right, she will get more used to it. You are just stressing her out and are way too rough with her. I understand she is aggressive when trying to shave her but so is mine and after taking the time to do it right it got better.

OMG people commenting. Groomers utilize the scruff too. It's perfectly fine. I wish my cats were still that calm when I got to the belly area. :

How about my cats titties even though he's a boy he still has a little titties the last time I did that I cut them how do I prevent that?

  12. Loveless 1 March 10, 2017 at 12:47 am - Reply

Dude u didn't have to shave the cat. You could just brush the cat on regular bases. Which will reduce the cat having hairballs. Also the car needs its fur it keeps them warmer in cold temps and from hurting there skin the fur is there for defense. 👎😥

If I were the cat I'd be scared to death. I get that professionals groom cats anyways, but the cat is in such an uncomfortable position and I would feel like I was those humans were about to murder me or something. Like they're not even comforting the poor cat who don't even know what's going on.

a cats skin is its protection, next time take her to a actual trained groomer, you are hurting this poor cat, what if you cut her skin on accident?she is clearly upset and miserable. cats skin is very tearable, thats why it has fur to protect itself from hurting itself and its skin, and no getting a good grip on the cats neck, is not good. God, im assuming your older than me so please, in advice dont SHAVE your cats fur

I can't pet my cat for more than 5 seconds before she walks away…. If I tried this I"d be calling 911 in agony …..

the reason he grabbed the cat by the neck is because it makes the cat stay because when a mom grabs their kitten they don't want them to squirm so that's why they stay still, it doesn't hurt or anything, i personally advise using a peg

PLEASE do NOT try to shave a cat on your own if you are not trained in cat grooming! If you nick a cat their skin is so think it will split opened like a zipper 🙁

Very difficult to watch. This guy is a control freak. For God's sake, comb the cat daily. Or take it to a vets.

So would you recommend using those combs that they give you with clippers if the cat a little matted or just use the bae blades?

  34. Holly Bercik August 28, 2018 at 12:57 pm - Reply

Wow. Video equality has come a long way since 2009. And, it isn't necessary to shave a long haired cat just because you live in a warm climate. A healthy cat will have a working cooling system. I don't agree with this practice except in the case of severe matting, and then you shouldn't have a long haired cat if you won't care for it's hair.

Omg u are balding her. Poor baby. Omg ur suppose to stop gor a little while to cool off shaver and use the the extensions to leave at least 1" hair. I hope she dont go out side.

Whatever you do, do not go in buisness to trim cats. You may find yould lose. That poor cat looks horrible. I think you need to watch professionals do it and really learn about the skin of cats. Its very thin and u can actually be exsposeing your cat to many deaseas. Sorry dude u made this look horrible.

  41. Adam Stalilonis February 14, 2019 at 8:49 am - Reply

Matted fur is very painful 4 a cat . . . happens more easily in warm or wet areas . . . he's showing her tremendous kindness . . . not much fun 4 either party but def worth doing . . .
