Great groom on a nervous dog. She seemed to hang in there really well. And Mom did great and wants to learn! Awesome…

What a good girl!!! She has almost the same exact markings as my Pavlov did, complete with "eye brows". He was a nervous guy too. Trust comes though. I love this dog mom too! 💗💗💗

Why would this breed of dog need it’s hair cut? Was it a medical reason or an aesthetic owner related reason? She has a beautiful natural coat.

The mask is not really useful if it’s not installed well…. She should pinch the metal part to her nose, and stretch the bottom to cover her chin… Great video but that was really bothering me🤦🏽‍♀️

Dede, I had 2 cats , Muffy and Daisy, that were amazing. They lived a great life to 25 years old!
Last 2 1/2 years I did 2 Subcutaneous drips twice a day on each of the two sister cats. due to CKD (chronic kidney disease)
Whenever they had bowels problems (not bladder problems) my best friend was baby wipes! Yes good ol' baby wipes.
They often had aloe or vitamin E in them and I bought the unscented. The were damp enough to clean the really gross
sanitary area very, very well. I'd finish off with one sheet of paper towel. What a difference and so easy to do.

Dede, tell the pet parent to go to the dollar store and they sell the exact same masks as at the doctor's office and walk in clinic for 5 for $1 and disposable.
Also I was told by the nurses that you put the light blue on the outside! They're great for dust but were made
for viral outbreaks at the doctor's office during cold and flu season.

I've watched so many of your videos and I wish there were more groomers out there like you. I have learned so much about how a dog should be treated at a grooming salon. Love all the vids. I had an Aussie purebred many years ago and her coat was really thick as well. You two are crazy! Have fun!

Oh man…. I just cringed at this. I can totally understand the buzz-cut at her first grooming (matted, nervous, nippy, and time was of the essence) but now her fur looks great. It is thick for a reason. The clipper-shave is likely adding to this. You can tell her real fur texture by her head, and legs, where it wants to be deeper blacks, browns. Frequent, thorough, combing and brushing and then using thinning shears would do the job. I realize this takes far more time and commitment, but the coat needs to grow out. Buzzing it down like this is not good. Perhaps more frequent, briefer visits where "nothing scary happens" would negate the need for sedatives. This dog is lucky…you are treating her well, and we can tell you love what you do… and do it well. Thank you!-from a concerned multi-Aussie owner.
